SE Ranking Pricing 2026: Cost Per Month, Every Plan and the Price Increase
SE Ranking costs $129 a month for Core and $279 a month for Growth, dropping to $103.20 and $223.20 on annual billing. Enterprise is quoted. The headline most articles miss is that SE Ranking did not simply raise prices in its 2026 restructure. Per tier the increases were single digit. What actually happened is that the cheapest plan was deleted, and deleting a tier moved the entry price from $65 to $129. That is why some existing customers reported bills jumping by half or more while the published rates barely moved. The full arithmetic is below.

Keywordpilot is an independent keyword research tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or a reseller of SE Ranking, and SE Ranking is their trademark. Plan structure and limits below were read directly off seranking.com in August 2026. Note that seranking.com geo detects: from a European address it prices Core at €109 and Growth at €235 month to month, so the euro and dollar figures are not the same numerals and cross currency comparisons of this vendor are unreliable.
▸ The 2026 lineup
SE Ranking pricing plans: Core, Growth and Enterprise
Two self serve tiers and a quoted Enterprise option. That is the whole public lineup now. The annual column is what SE Ranking advertises by default, and it is charged as one upfront payment covering twelve months rather than a smaller monthly debit, which is worth knowing before you compare it against a competitor's rolling rate.
| Plan | Billed annually | Month to month | Cost per year (annual) | Projects | Manager seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Core | $103.20 / mo | $129 / mo | $1,238.40 | 10 | 1 |
| Growth | $223.20 / mo | $279 / mo | $2,678.40 | 30 | 3 |
| Enterprise | Quoted | Quoted | Quoted | Custom | Custom |
Where these numbers come from, so you can weigh them: the plan names, the 20% annual discount and every usage limit on this page were read off SE Ranking's own pricing page in August 2026. The dollar figures are not, because that page serves euros to this location. They come from several independent sources that agree with each other and, more usefully, reconcile exactly against the vendor's own discount, since 20% off $129 is $103.20 and 20% off $279 is $223.20. When a currency conversion and a published discount both land on clean figures, the underlying numbers are almost certainly right.
▸ The 2026 price change
What the SE Ranking price increase actually did
SE Ranking retired the Essential, Pro and Business names and moved everyone onto Core, Growth and Enterprise. Read as a rename it looks harmless. Read as arithmetic it is the most consequential pricing move the company has made, and it lands entirely on the smallest customers.
| Legacy plan | Was (month to month) | Now becomes | Is (month to month) | Change |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | $65 | Nothing. Removed. | $129 (Core is the floor) | +98% |
| Pro | $119 | Core | $129 | +8.4% |
| Business | $259 | Growth | $279 | +7.7% |
Treat the legacy column as corroborated rather than vendor published. SE Ranking has taken the old pricing page down, so nobody can verify it against the source any more. Several independent write ups published before and after the change agree on $65, $119 and $259, and those figures are consistent with the migration complaints, but we cannot check them against seranking.com today and neither can anyone else quoting them.
The rises were small
Pro to Core is $10 a month. Business to Growth is $20. If you were already paying for one of those two tiers, the 2026 restructure cost you roughly 8%, which is an ordinary annual increase and not the story.
The floor is what moved
Removing Essential lifted the cheapest way into SE Ranking from $65 to $129 a month. Nothing was added at the bottom to replace it. That single deletion is the whole price increase for solo users and small sites.
That explains the 50% reports
An Essential customer at $65 forced onto Core pays $129, a rise of about 98%. Averaged with a partial year or an annual discount, that lands near the 50% to 100% jumps people described. The published rates never showed it.
▸ Limits per tier
What each SE Ranking plan includes
Keyword, competitor and backlink research is unlimited on both tiers, so research volume is not what you are buying when you move up. The tier decides how many projects and people you can run, how many keywords get tracked daily, and how much of the AI search layer you get.
| Limit | Core | Growth |
|---|---|---|
| Projects | 10 | 30 |
| Manager seats | 1 | 3 |
| Keywords tracked daily | 2,000 | 5,000 |
| AI prompts tracked daily | 100 | 250 |
| Domains in AI search research | 5 | 15 |
| Pages per month in site audit | 250,000 | 2,000,000 |
| API credits per month | 25,000 | 100,000 |
| Keyword, competitor and backlink research | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Historical data across project lifetime | No | Yes |
| Page change monitoring and guest links | No | Yes |
| Dedicated customer support | No | Yes |
The number worth staring at is manager seats. Core gives you one. An agency with two strategists is on Growth at $279 regardless of how few keywords it tracks, which makes the effective price of a second login $150 a month. Everything else scales roughly with money spent. Seats do not.
▸ The part that is not in the headline price
SE Ranking add on costs
Three capabilities that many buyers assume are included sit outside the plan price, and two of them are sold on annual billing only, so you cannot trial them on a rolling month.
| Add on | Price | Billing | What it unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Agency Pack | +$59 / mo | Annual only | White label reporting, 30 client seats, unlimited scheduled reports with AI summaries, agency catalog placement and a lead generator widget. |
| AI Search | +$63.20 / mo annual, $79 month to month | Either | Tracking across AI Overviews, AI Mode, Perplexity and ChatGPT, unlimited competitor research in those surfaces, and 200 prompts of the SE Visible dashboard. |
| API | +$39 / mo | Annual only | Backlinks, domain analysis, keyword research, AI search and website audit endpoints, from 3 million credits. |
| Standalone data plan | From $155 / mo | Annual only | Programmatic access at scale: 12M backlinks, 120K domains and 15K AI search queries, for pulling SE Ranking data into your own systems. |
Add on prices are shown in euros on seranking.com from this location and are listed here at the same numerals in dollars, matching how the vendor prices the rest of its US lineup. Treat them as indicative to the dollar and confirm at checkout. A realistic agency configuration, Growth plus the Agency Pack plus AI Search, runs about $401 a month on annual billing before anyone has tracked a keyword.
▸ Picking a tier
Which SE Ranking plan you actually need
Core at $129
One person running up to ten sites. Freelancers, in house SEOs and founders. The 2,000 daily tracked keywords are generous for that profile, and the single seat is the only thing that will force you off it.
Growth at $279
Two or three people who each need a login, or an agency past ten clients. You are buying seats, projects and historical data. If you only need the second seat, this is an expensive way to get it.
Neither, if you only research
Both tiers charge mainly for rank tracking and site audit. If you never track a position and never crawl a site, most of the bill is for capacity you will not touch.
The free trial is unusually honest and worth using before you decide: 14 days, no credit card, up to 10 projects, 750 tracked keywords a day, 20 AI prompts a day and AI competitor research across 3 domains. Note that payments are non refundable once made, and annual plans are charged in full upfront, so the trial is the only low risk way to find out whether you will use the tracking capacity you are paying for.
▸ In context
How SE Ranking pricing compares
SE Ranking spent years as the affordable all in one. After the restructure that positioning is much weaker: at $129 it sits within $11 of Semrush Pro and above Ahrefs Lite.
| Tool | Entry price | What you are paying for |
|---|---|---|
| SE Ranking | $129 Core | A genuine all in one: rank tracking, site audit, unlimited keyword and backlink research, AI search tracking and 10 projects on the entry tier. Broad coverage, one seat. |
| Semrush | $139.95 Pro | Breadth. Around fifty tools across SEO, PPC, content and social, with the best advertising research available. One seat, 5 projects. |
| Ahrefs | $29 Starter, $129 Lite | The strongest backlink index in the category. Starter is real but caps reports at 250 rows, blocks exports entirely and adds no extra users at any price. |
| Ubersuggest | $29 Individual, or $290 once | The cheapest keyword and site data in the category, and the only lifetime licence left. Data depth falls behind on competitive terms. |
| Surfer SEO | $49 Discovery (annual) | On page optimization of drafts you are already writing, scored against the current SERP. No backlink index and no keyword research suite. |
| Keywordpilot | From $39 founding | The synthesis rather than the platform: one seed keyword expands into scored topic clusters and a publish ordered content plan. No rank tracker, no site crawl, no backlink index. |
Be honest about what that table does and does not say. SE Ranking at $129 gives you far more surface area than we do, and if you need rank tracking and site audits you should buy a platform. Full breakdowns of the others live on Ahrefs pricing, Semrush pricing, Ubersuggest pricing and Surfer SEO pricing. For what each is genuinely good at rather than what it costs, the best keyword research tools roundup is the better read, and SE Ranking vs Semrush works through the choice most people are actually making at this price point. If it is specifically the keyword module you are pricing rather than the whole platform, the SE Ranking keyword research alternative covers what the SE Ranking Keyword Tool measures and how its regional databases are split, and SE Ranking Keyword Tool vs Ahrefs Keywords Explorer puts Core against Ahrefs Lite at the identical $129 a month. For the whole-platform decision rather than the price list, including rank tracking limits, audit allowances, seats and white-label reporting, read Ahrefs vs SE Ranking, and for the agency add-on maths, SE Ranking Agency Pack pricing vs Ahrefs seat costs.
▸ However you spell it
SE Ranking prices, SEranking pricing and the SE Ranking plans, in one place
The vendor writes its name as two words and its domain as one, so seranking pricing and seranking price get typed about as often as the spaced version. Same company, same figures. Below are direct answers to the plural and plan phrasings, because seranking prices and se ranking plans are usually asked by someone comparing tiers rather than looking up a single number.
What are the SE Ranking prices?
Two self serve plans. Core is $129 a month billed monthly or $103.20 billed annually. Growth is $279 monthly or $223.20 annually. Enterprise is quoted rather than listed. The annual discount is a flat 20 percent, billed upfront, and SE Ranking states annual payments are non refundable.
Is SEranking pricing the same as SE Ranking pricing?
Yes. SEranking as one word is how the domain is written and it is the same product and the same price list. There is no separate cheaper edition under the compressed spelling, and no regional variant of the plans behind it. If you see wildly different figures quoted, check the currency before you check the spelling.
What are the SE Ranking plans and what is in each?
Core gives 10 projects, 1 manager seat, 2,000 keywords tracked daily and 100 AI prompts. Growth gives 30 projects, 3 manager seats, 5,000 keywords daily and 250 prompts, plus historical data across the project lifetime and page change monitoring. Enterprise adds custom limits and full API access.
Why is the SEranking price different on the site I looked at?
Because the pricing page detects your location and switches currency. From a European address it lists euros, and the euro and dollar numerals are not the same figures converted, they are separate price lists. Always confirm which currency you are reading before comparing SE Ranking against a competitor quoted in dollars.

SE Ranking pricing questions
How much does SE Ranking cost?
SE Ranking costs $129 a month for Core and $279 a month for Growth on rolling monthly billing. Commit to a year and those drop 20% to $103.20 and $223.20 a month, billed upfront. Enterprise is quoted rather than listed. There is no cheaper self serve tier below Core any more.
How much is SE Ranking per month?
Core is $129 per month and Growth is $279 per month if you pay month to month. The advertised $103.20 and $223.20 figures are the annual rates, charged as a single upfront payment for twelve months, not a monthly debit. That distinction matters because annual plans are billed in full at signup.
Is SE Ranking free?
No. SE Ranking has no free tier. It offers a fully functional 14 day free trial with no credit card required, which includes up to 10 projects, 750 tracked keywords per day, 20 AI prompts per day and AI competitive research across 3 domains. After 14 days you either pay or lose access.
What happened to the SE Ranking Essential, Pro and Business plans?
They were retired and replaced by Core, Growth and Enterprise. Pro at $119 became Core at $129 and Business at $259 became Growth at $279, both modest rises. Essential at $65 was removed with no replacement, which is why the entry price roughly doubled and why older reviews quote plans you cannot buy.
Why did my SE Ranking price go up?
Because the tier you were on probably no longer exists. Existing customers were migrated from the legacy lineup onto the new one. If you were on Essential at $65 there is nothing below Core at $129, so the smallest available plan is now about 98% more expensive. Customers on Pro or Business saw single digit rises instead.
What is the cheapest SE Ranking plan?
Core, at $103.20 a month billed annually or $129 month to month. It covers 10 projects, one manager seat, 2,000 daily tracked keywords, 5 domains of AI search research and 250,000 pages a month of site audit. The single manager seat is what pushes most agencies to Growth, not the keyword limit.
Does SE Ranking include API access?
Core includes 25,000 API credits a month and Growth includes 100,000, both with MCP access. Beyond that, the API add on is $39 a month on annual billing only, starting at 3 million credits. There is also a separate SE Ranking data plan starting around $155 a month for high volume programmatic use.
Is SE Ranking cheaper than Semrush?
Marginally, at the entry point. Core is $129 a month against $139.95 for Semrush Pro, and SE Ranking gives you 10 projects to Semrush's 5. The gap used to be far wider when Essential cost $65. After the restructure SE Ranking is a similarly priced alternative rather than a budget one.
