What is keyword research, and other fair questions
Everything a careful buyer asks before handing over an email address, answered without marketing fog. If something is missing, write to us.
What is keyword research?
Keyword research is finding out what your audience actually types into search engines, then deciding which of those queries your site should answer. Done well it covers four questions: what people search for (the keywords), how often (volume), how hard each one is to rank for (difficulty), and what the searcher wants (intent). The output should be a plan of what to publish, in what order. Most tools stop at the list; Keywordpilot is built around the plan.
Is Keywordpilot live yet?
We are in early access. The free demo works today and runs the real clustering engine on a sample. Full accounts with tracked volumes, difficulty history and rank monitoring open in waves. Request access and we will email you the moment your spot opens.
How is this different from Ahrefs or Semrush?
Ahrefs and Semrush are excellent databases with a steep price and a steep learning curve. They hand you raw keyword data and leave the synthesis, clustering keywords into topics, judging winnability and building a content plan, to you. Keywordpilot does that synthesis with AI and charges about a third of the price. If you live in exports and API calls, keep the big suite. If you want to know what to write next, that is us.
Where do the numbers come from?
Two sources, always labeled. The free demo shows AI-estimated directional bands (High/Medium/Low volume, Easy/Moderate/Hard difficulty), which are honest estimates, not live data. The full product tracks real metrics for your saved keywords on a schedule. Marketing pages on this site cite real Google Ads Keyword Planner volumes.
What will it cost?
Founding pricing: Starter $39/mo, Growth $99/mo, Agency $299/mo, Enterprise custom, with two months free on yearly billing. Early-access users lock these rates in for as long as they stay subscribed. Nothing is charged before launch. Full details on the pricing page.
Do you have a free plan?
No free tier is planned. The free demo is the free taste. We would rather charge a fair price than mine your data or throttle you into upgrading.
Is my data safe? Who is building this?
Keywordpilot is Early access, launching soon, a Polish software company. Your seeds, clusters and plans are never resold or shared between accounts, and we delete everything on request. The early-access list stores your email and nothing else you did not type.
We are a team. SSO? Invoicing?
The Enterprise tier is scoped for exactly that: SSO/SAML, roles and permissions, an SLA, PO invoicing, a security review and dedicated onboarding. Pick "Talk to sales" in the signup and mention your team size.
